The name says it all. Zack (Rogen) and Miri (Banks) are two 'good' friends, who share the same apartment but yet don't share a sexual relationship. Their meagre salaries isn't enough to pay off the house rent. In an act of desperation, the decide to overcome the sexual hurdle between them and make a porno. Love blossoms on the set and they live happily ever after. As you can inadvertently see, the story is quite lame and does little to entertain. The movie doesn't play on either the comedy aspect or the romance part and loosely hangs in the middle. It tries very hard to make you laugh but the jokes fall flat on their faces. How this movie has managed to achieve such high ratings is beyond me. The movie displays some fair amounts of sexuality, but that is not a very convincing reason for its popularity.
